MEET OUR PASTORS- ROBERT & ALICE LEWIS
Pastor Rob Lewis was born in Del Rio, Texas and was raised in Prichard, Alabama. He is a graduate of McGill-Toolen High School. He is a published author and a lover of sports...Roll Tide and how 'bout them Cowboys?
He gave his life to Christ at the age of 21 at Hahn Air Base, Germany, and accepted his call to preach April 28, 1983. He has been pastoring 36 years and has been in ministry for 40. He attended Tuskegee University and Lomax Hannon Bible College. He is also a retired Air Force Veteran.
Pastor Alice Lewis was born in Montgomery, Alabama and raised in Snowdoun, Alabama. She is a published author, a lover of sports...Roll Tide and how 'bout them Cowboys. Pastor Alice also appreciates and respects Jalen Hurts, the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, and loves country living.
She accepted Christ at the age of 13 at New Pleasant Valley A.M.E. Zion Church in Hope Hull, Alabama. She accepted her call to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ on November 21, 2001. She is a graduate of Jefferson Davis High School, Troy University and Hood Theological Seminary.
They have two children, Nina who serves in the Air Force, and Joshua who serves is the Navy. They also have one granddaughter, Ariana.

The book is a humorous comparison on growing up in Alabama to a young athlete leaving home, undergoing, or enduring "The Process" and "growing up" in Crimson Tide country. It explores what it's like to be a "Bama" fan...its experiences, the friendships, ups, and downs, trials, and tribulations of wearing the crimson and white. So, what's it like to go anywhere in the country and hear "Roll Tide" loudly proclaimed by another fan? It's the society of the "A", the houndstooth coat and hat, about title town and eighteen football national championships (and counting!).
A Dark Direction: The Way of Cain engages in a plausible forensic study of Cain's character and explores his humanity. Pastors Rob and Alic Lewis used Scriptures to aid in mapping a possible psyche which led to the following questions: Was there a sibling rivalry? Was there possible animosity or jealousy? What was his childhood like, and how did he relate to his other siblings? Most importantly, what kind of relationship did he have with his twin brother, Abel? This book is not written as a rewrite of biblical Scripture or to create sympathy for Cain but to explore his conceivable personality. Here is the case for Cain. You be the judge.
Based on Luke 1:26-35; 2:1-20 this book was written for people to know the truth about Christmas and why this blessed day is celebrated. We wanted people to see and understand Christmas from a biblical perspective. That it's more than Santa Claus and eight tiny reindeer. We want people to know God, the Father's love for us, and exactly why Jesus was born. God promised us a Savior and His fulfillment of that promise was Jesus, and this is why we celebrate Christmas. God, the Father, gave the greatest gift of all, his Son, for our salvation which is the greatest love all.
